From psychedelic improvisation to Primus classics, the evening unfolded as a celebration of the many directions Les Claypool's career has taken over the decades.

What an experience! Les Claypool brought in his three projects, alongside Sean Lennon, all together on such an exciting night. Starting off with Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade!

Yes, you heard that right; the Flying Frog Brigade is one of Claypool’s projects that blends genres to create their unique sound. The jam band consistently draws the listener back in with their rhythmic switches and breakdowns between the members and their instruments.

Accompanied by Sean Lennon, the set also consisted of more psychedelic influences. Their set was mainly instrumental; however, the blend of Lennon's and Claypool’s voices was perfect! The fans of the Frog Brigade were easily spotted, seen wearing their merch, frog bucket hats! Truly such a fun merch idea.

Following the Frogs was Claypool Lennon Delirium. This jam band focused mainly on psych rock and experimental breakdowns.

Sean Lennon has a leading role in vocals for this section of the show, really emphasizing that psychedelic sound. Many say he sounds similar to his father, John Lennon; however, paired with Claypool and the other members of the Delirium, it creates a sense of controlled chaos.

Opening their set strong with “Blood and Rockets…” from their album South of Reality truly encapsulates the sound of Claypool Lennon Delirium. Progressing into newer songs of their most recent album, The Great Parrot-Ox and the Golden Egg of Reality.

Finishing off the night was, of course, Primus. A sound unlike any other with the unique ways of playing brought by Les Claypool, guitarist Larry LaLonde, and drummer Tim Alexander. Les Claypool’s captivating techniques of playing the bass and guitar alongside his peculiar vocals are how Primus made a name for themselves.

The band embraces weird and eccentric sounds and views, which have created a culture unlike many others. Fans can be heard chanting “Primus Sucks!” Not as an insult but as a way of affirmation for the band! This has become sort of a cult saying amongst their fans.

Over the years Primus has also accumulated quite an eclectic group of fans, spreading from the classic metalheads to the hippies, young and old. Primus opened the night with hit songs “My Name is Mud” and “Jerry was a Race Car Driver” off their 1990 album Sailing

The Seas of Cheese and their 1992 album Pork Soda. The three-piece band was later joined by Sean Lennon and the members of the opening bands to finish the night off with yet again a perfect blend of genres. Floating through a psychedelic experience to head-banging and melodic melodies—truly a magical evening.
