Movements returned to the stage for the first time since the pandemic, closing out an evening of atmospheric and emotionally charged performances at Crescent Ballroom.
On August 11, 2021, the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona, hosted a night of emotionally charged performances as Movements returned to the stage for their first tour since the COVID-19 pandemic. Supported by openers Soft Blue Shimmer and Cheridomingo, the evening showcased a blend of shoegaze, alternative rock, and post-hardcore, reaffirming the resilience and passion of the live music scene.
Soft Blue Shimmer opened the night with their signature shoegaze sound, enveloping the audience in lush, reverb-heavy textures. Their set featured tracks like "Chihiro," "Shinji," and "Sunpools," which transported listeners into a dreamlike state. The band's ethereal melodies and atmospheric layers provided a serene yet powerful start to the evening, setting the tone for the performances to follow.
