Even though "IT’S BEEN AWFUL," Isaiah Rashad is a very, very incredible performer.

On the second-to-last night of the Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip tour, fans were witnesses to great artistry at the hands of TDE’s Isaiah Rashad and Alemeda.

Alemeda (who was raised in the Phoenix Valley!) made her homecoming to a packed-out crowd and kicked off the night with great energy. With just a short 30-minute set, she made a memorable impression on the audience by dancing around, laying down great vocals, and asking the crowd to show her pictures of their cats. She also showed off two great unreleased songs that are likely to make an appearance on a future project.

Over the course of an hour and a half and twenty-one songs, Isaiah Rashad sliced and diced his flow in ways that make you truly admire his talents.

The live performances of tracks like SUPERFICIAL, Headshots (4r da Locals), and SCARED 2 LOOK DOWN accentuate just how great Rashad’s writing, cadence, and flow have been throughout his career.

While the setlist did focus on his newest album, IT’S BEEN AWFUL, Rashad made sure to include his older hits to the delight of the crowd. Songs like Free Lunch and Wat’s Wrong made shockwaves at the Van Buren; it felt as though every single person in the building was singing and rapping along word for word.

The Chattanooga rapper took time to bring attention to The Sun’s Tirade receiving RIAA Gold Certification, giving a shoutout to the love and support that fans have given him throughout the years.

In a show full of fun moments and storytelling, one of the highlights is Rashad bringing a fan on stage to perform CAMERAS with him and pulling out a disposable camera to take photos of him and the rest of the crowd.
