The two-day event arrives at Victory Park in August, bringing together artists spanning alternative rock, pop-punk, hard rock, and metal for its inaugural year.
Northeast Ohio is adding a new destination to its summer concert calendar as the Afterburn Music Festival prepares to make its debut on August 14–15 at Victory Park in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Organized by Victory Entertainment, the two-day event brings together artists from across the rock spectrum, pairing established headliners with modern favorites for a lineup that spans alternative rock, pop-punk, hard rock, and metal.
Friday's lineup will be headlined by Third Eye Blind and New Found Glory, with additional performances from The Maine, Switchfoot, lovelytheband, Bayside, Heart Attack Man, and Giveth. Saturday shifts toward heavier territory with Skillet and Hoobastank leading the bill alongside Set It Off, Puddle of Mudd, Drowning Pool, Black Stone Cherry, Small Town Titans, and Rusty.
Rather than focusing on a single era of rock music, the inaugural lineup reflects the evolution of the genre over the last three decades. Legacy acts share the bill with artists continuing to shape today's alternative scene, creating a weekend designed to appeal to longtime fans while introducing newer audiences to bands across multiple generations.
"The goal with Afterburn wasn't to create just another festival—it was to build something that feels big without feeling out of reach," said Joe Borkey, President of Victory Entertainment. "This is the kind of lineup you'd normally have to travel for. Now it's happening right here in Northeast Ohio."
Borkey added that the festival was curated with a broad audience in mind, bringing together artists that resonate across different generations of rock fans, from those who grew up on '90s alternative to listeners who discovered the genre through pop-punk, hard rock, and modern alternative music.
The festival will feature two full-production stages, an immersive VIP area, and a selection of Northeast Ohio food trucks and local vendors. Gates open at 12:00 p.m. each day, with performances scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. Organizers expect the event to draw attendees from across Ohio and the surrounding Midwest.
Single-day general admission tickets begin at $89.65, while two-day passes start at $159.30. VIP packages are also available in limited quantities. Additional scheduling details and festival information will be announced in the coming weeks.
